1 Kisimul Castle
This three-storey towerhouse is situated in one of the most stunning and unique settings in Scotland. The ‘Castle in the Sea’ on the Isle of Barra can only be reached by boat. The castle remains the seat of the Clan Macneil of Barra and was restored in the 20th-century. Make sure you enjoy the spectacular views of Castle Bay from the tower house battlements.
