  • Meeting point: Broad Pavement Car Park, next to the entrance of the car park on the grass verge opposite the car park kiosk (Queens Drive, Holyrood Park, Edinburgh EH8 8AZ)
  • Route: Volunteers’ Walk, St Anthony's, Hunter’s Bog, Duddingston. This may change.
  • Grade: Moderate/Strenuous. Parts of this walk have steep elevation over short distances.
  • Age: This walk may not be suitable for children under 12 years
  • Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A snack and a drink
  • Toilets: are available at the Holyrood Park Education Centre (EH8 8HG). No toilets on the walk itself
  • Parking: Broad Pavement Car Park (off Queen's Drive, next to Holyrood Palace). Charges apply Mon-Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm (except public holidays). Free for blue badge holders
  • Road Closures: Holyrood Park roads are closed every Saturday and Sunday. Local roads and car parks may be subject to closures
  • Disabled access: The route is not currently wheelchair accessible. Please contact us if you have any access requirements and we will do our best to adapt the walk accordingly.
  • Dogs: Dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs
