Become an Engine Shed Master Builder! For the Year of Coasts and Waters 2020, roll up your sleeves and get hands-on with traditional boat-building skills.
Build on your knowledge and come back each month to learn about a different traditional boatbuilding skill.
In our January session, have a go at traditional signwriting techniques with professional signwriter Ross Hastie.
Signwriting has been giving character and flourish to Scotland's shops and buildings for centuries. At this session, take inspiration from ships with their names beautifully hand-painted on their outsides.
As well as trying your hand at this skill, you'll get to see Ross in action as he gives signwriting demonstrations.
Don't forget to pick up your Master Builder Log Book and to collect a stamp each time you visit to become an Engine Shed Master Builder!
Master Builders take place on the fourth Saturday of the month (Stirling term time only).
