In light of updated Scottish Government advice regarding Coronavirus we have taken the decision to close public access to our staffed properties and our events have been postponed until further notice. If you would like to keep up to date about our events please sign up to our newsletter.
If you have purchased tickets for this event, you will receive an automatic refund. Please allow 30 working days for the funds to show on your statement.
Please note, this creative workshop is in two parts in two locations.
Between 10am and 12 noon, participants will be at Duff House. You will be able to spend time at the exhibition The Printmaker’s Art: Rembrandt to Riley looking for inspirational images and patterns to develop into a silver etched pendant.
From 1pm to 5pm, the group will be at the Smiddy in Banff. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with patterns and use acid to etch a design onto a silver pendant. In four hours, you will create a design and make a silver pendant completely unique to you.
This class is ideal for complete beginners and those with a bit of experience. Participants must be 16 years old or over.
Participants will need to bring a camera, smart phone or sketch book to capture their favourite images. All other tools and silver are provided.
