As part of Edinburgh Doors Open Day, Trinity House will be throwing open its doors once more and welcoming you to this wonderful gem of Leith.
Visitors to the house can take a self-led tour of Leith’s maritime history, get hands-on with object handling activities, or participate in stained glass craft activities inspired by the house’s architecture. Historic Environment Scotland Painting Conservators will also be on hand to chat about the work they do on the wonderful art collections on display.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can also learn what passenger travel by sea might have been like in the 1920s from costumed performers portraying passengers from the Royal Fusilier steamship.
This event is free and no booking is required. Donations are welcome.
