This is a chance to get up close to the Ness of Brodgar, its people, their belongings, and their lives.
The exhibition will introduce many fascinating objects from the Neolithic excavation, while pondering the choices made, skills used and creativity displayed by the people at the Ness. It will also shine a light on the modern “people of the Ness”, getting to know more about the work of archaeologists and specialists involved in excavating the site.
The exhibition is free and at the Maeshowe Visitor Centre. If you're planning to visit Maeshowe Chambered Cairn, it is strongly recommended to reserve your visit online to guarantee entry as capacity is limited.
