Duff House

William Blake, Title page for Seventeen Illustrations to Thornton's 'Virgil': Thenot and Colinet, National Galleries of Scotland

In light of updated Scottish Government advice regarding Coronavirus we have taken the decision to close public access to our staffed properties and our events have been postponed until further notice. If you would like to keep up to date about our events please sign up to our newsletter.

If you have pre-purchased tickets to visit Duff House for a visit anytime until 30 April, you will receive an automatic refund. Please allow 30 working days for the funds to show on your statement.

The print collections of the National Galleries of Scotland reveal a diverse and dazzling variety of different techniques and approaches to printmaking.

From exquisite copperplate engravings by the old masters to woodblocks cut on kitchen tables, this exhibition examines key works by artists from Dürer to Warhol and beyond, giving visitors an introduction to printmaking as an art form and an understanding of the different working methods and materials.

Printmakers Art will combine elements of the 2013 exhibition held in Edinburgh.
