Come and knit a section of a St Mungo themed blanket in celebration of St Mungo's feast day
There will be family crafts revolving around the miracles of St Mungo (woolly pet robins and button rings for younger children) and knitting/crocheting 20 cm x 20 cm squares. One blanket is to be Glasgow-themed in commemoration of Glasgow 850 and we are soliciting squares for that. Other blankets will be donated to charity.
If anyone cannot make the physical event but wishes to participate, we are also accepting squares via post to be sent to: Knitting in the Nave, Glasgow Cathedral, Castle Street, Glasgow, G4 0QZ
The event will make use of donated materials, and blankets produced will be donated in support of patients at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
