Community Heritage Conversations
Community Heritage Conversations is a re-imagining of Scotland’s Community Heritage Conference, which since 2012 has developed into a lively forum bringing together many different voices from the heritage world.
Life changed in 2020, and now we're bringing you a series of monthly online events to explore the themes of resilience, innovation, adaptation and celebration. The series will run throughout 2021.
Heritage and Wellbeing
The unprecedented events of the last year has led to much uncertainty and turmoil for the heritage sector. However, these events have also driven out increased recognition of the significant impact of heritage on overall well-being and of the importance of historic places to people and communities.
In the forth session of our Scotland's Community Heritage Conversations, we will be hearing from groups who are delivering wellbeing focused heritage activities. We will also explore the tools, guidance and support that are available to allow the fostering of wellbeing in our own activities promoting people and place and demonstrating the huge overall public value of our historic environment.
The Conversations will be hosted on Zoom and will be free to attend. Technical support will be available to those who need it.
