Valid until Friday 30 September 2022.

Tickets to Castle of Light are not valid in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount such ASVA cards or Young Scot Cards.

Event tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be issued should you no longer be able to attend the event.

In the event of severe weather such as strong winds or snow, the event may be cancelled. The castle will close if the weather presents a hazard and a risk to visitors. If this happens, attendees will be notified by email with as much notice as possible. A ticket will be offered to you for another date if possible. If an alternative date is not available or the alternative date is not suitable then a full refund will be given. It is the responsibility of the attendees to check their emails before arriving at the event to check for any updates, and to make sure email addresses are correctly entered when booking tickets. Updates will also be made on social media (search #HSclosure) and the closures page on our website.

Historic Environment Scotland will not be held responsible for any lost tickets. Lost or misplaced tickets cannot be replaced or refunded.

Historic Environment Scotland reserves the right to request proof of age and refuse entry to anyone with the wrong category of pass. Categories are: Adult (16-64), Concession (65+ and unemployed), Child (5-15) and Family (three packages available covering admission to the event for up to two adults and three children aged 5-15).

Under 5’s go free, but must be included in the number of people when booking online.

Carer tickets are available to book online for those accompanying visitors who require assistance. A maximum of 2 carer tickets can be booked per transaction.

HS Members must show proof of membership, covering the booked event date, along with event tickets in order to gain entry.

VIP package holders receive admission to the event and a 2 course meal & cocktail or soft drink. Challenge 25 will be in operation.

The castle will close at 9pm each night.
