Event tickets are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be issued should you no longer be able to attend the event.

In the event of severe weather such as strong winds or snow, the event may be cancelled. The castle will close if the weather presents a hazard and a risk to visitors. If this happens, attendees will be notified by email with as much notice as possible and a full refund will automatically be issued. It is the responsibility of the attendees to check their emails before arriving at the event to check for any updates, and to make sure email addresses are correctly entered when booking tickets. Updates will also be made on social media:

Historic Environment Scotland will not be held responsible for any lost tickets. Lost or misplaced tickets cannot be replaced or refunded.
