Ghosts of War: Armistice Day Poetry (P5 - S6)

Be inspired by a visit to Edinburgh Castle and the National War Museum to create your own poems whilst learning about WWI

Explore the National War Museum's powerful exhibits and visit the Scottish National War Memorial to share in an act of Remembrance. Investigate objects related to WW1 and develop an understanding of the world by writing poems of war and peace. This year the session includes a visit to the National War Museum’s new exhibition The Poppy: A Symbol of Remembrance. A joint initiative between Historic Environment Scotland and the National War Museum of Scotland.
