Come along between 10am and 4pm to explore and enjoy each of Scotland’s six World Heritage Sites and find out a little about what World Heritage is all about.
We will have lots of fun activities to try out at our stalls, or you can just have a chat with friendly and knowledgeable staff from Historic Environment Scotland (HES) and our World Heritage partners.

The Scottish Ten team from HES and The Glasgow School of Art (GSoA) will be demonstrating the cutting-edge technology they’re using to develop interactive 3D digital models and educational games for the sites. Why not try out their newly launched interactive Go Roman game and find out what life was like at a Roman fort along the Antonine Wall in Scotland around 2000 years ago?

Scotland’s packs six amazing World Heritage Sites spanning thousands of years inside its borders. This event at the Kelvingrove gives visitors a chance to experience a taste of them all in one fantastic venue and perhaps inspire their own trips explore the sites further.’’
The World Heritage Day event is on Tuesday 11 April, 2018 at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow. The drop-in event runs from 10am to 4pm. Entrance is free.
